If you did not know, it is my birthday this Friday and I am so excited. Not long until I turn into a fourteen year old. Birthdays are usually a bit disappointing though, aren't they. You expect to wake to breakfast in bed, a million presents and everyone wishing you a happy birthday through out the day at school. However, in reality you wake up having to go downstairs and have cereal, two presents and no one remembering your birthday at school. I'm not bothered though. It's the effort that counts and also the people who are there to share the moment s of the day with you ie. Friends and Family.
Also, I have just organised my birthday gathering and it took me so long to think of people to invite because I realised that I don't actually have that many friends. I suppose it makes you really sit down and think about who your real friends are. Just a thought anyway.
